Welcome to Fragrance of Arabia UK. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline your rights and responsibilities when using our website, purchasing our products, or interacting with us (including via third-party platforms such as eBay). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Overview

This website is operated by Fragrance of Arabia UK. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Fragrance of Arabia UK.
These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, and merchants, and are designed in line with UK Consumer Law.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent/legal guardian.
  • You will not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

3. Product Information & Scent Perception

  • We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate.
  • Scent is subjective and may vary due to skin chemistry, environment, and storage.
  • Colours, bottle shapes, and packaging may vary slightly due to batch differences or supplier changes.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Personal dislike of scent or “not what I expected”
  • Comparisons to designer perfumes or oils purchased elsewhere
  • Strength or longevity variations
  • Minor packaging or label changes

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a product is “misdescribed” only if factual listing details are incorrect.
Scent preference or expectation-based dissatisfaction does not qualify as misdescription.

4. Shipping & Delivery

UK Orders

  • Free delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
  • Paid upgrades (Tracked 24, Special Delivery) available at checkout.
  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri) are usually dispatched same day.
  • Estimated delivery: 2–4 working days.

International Orders

  • Shipped via FedEx or DHL.
  • Dispatched within 1–2 working days.
  • Estimated delivery: 2–15 working days, subject to customs clearance.

We are not liable for:

  • Postal or customs delays.
  • Parcels returned due to incorrect/incomplete addresses.
  • Missed collection resulting in return to sender.

If a parcel is returned to us:

  • You may pay for re-delivery, or
  • Request a refund minus original shipping costs and a £5 handling fee, provided it’s in resaleable condition.
  • If not returned, no refund will be issued.

5. Customs & Duties

  • International buyers are responsible for all import taxes, duties, and customs compliance.
  • If you fail to respond to customs requests and the parcel is returned or destroyed, no refund will be issued unless returned in good condition.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

6. Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns for opened or used fragrance oils due to hygiene regulations.

Returns are only accepted if:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and sealed.
  • You notify us within 3 days of delivery.
  • The return is approved in writing before sending.
  • Return postage is paid by the customer (unless faulty under UK law).

Refunds are subject to:

  • £5 handling fee.
  • Deduction of original shipping.
  • Inspection and approval of the returned product.

7. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Notify us within 3 days of delivery.
  • Provide photo/video evidence immediately.
  • Keep the packaging until resolved.

Once confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund within 30 days.

8. Fraud & Misuse

We reserve the right to cancel or investigate orders that appear fraudulent or abusive, including:

  • Multiple unfounded refund claims
  • False “item not received” disputes
  • Returns based solely on scent preference

We may report false claims under the Fraud Act 2006 to Trading Standards, payment providers, and legal authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content—including product names, packaging, descriptions, logos, and images—is owned by Fragrance of Arabia UK.

  • Names resembling designer fragrances are for descriptive purposes only.
  • We do not claim affiliation with or endorsement by any trademark holder.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Allergic reactions (patch testing recommended)
  • Misuse of products after purchase
  • Delays caused by postal services or customs

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled in UK courts.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website and services means you accept the latest version.
