Fragrance of Arabia UK – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of products by Fragrance of Arabia UK (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer. By placing an order with us (through our website, eBay, or any other channel), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Orders & Payment
- Orders are accepted subject to product availability and payment clearance.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order suspected of fraud or abuse.
- Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
2. Product Information & Scent Perception
- We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate.
- Scent perception is subjective and may vary due to skin chemistry, environment, and storage conditions.
- Colours, bottle shapes, and packaging may vary slightly due to batch differences or supplier changes.
- Refunds will not be given for personal dislike of scent, assumptions about fragrance profile, or comparisons to other brands or designer perfumes.
3. Shipping & Delivery
UK Orders
- Free delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2–4 working days).
- Paid upgrades available at checkout.
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri) are usually dispatched same day.
International Orders
- Shipped via FedEx or DHL (2–15 working days).
- Full tracking provided.
- Buyers are responsible for all customs duties and import taxes.
Missed Deliveries & Incorrect Addresses
- The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
- If a parcel is returned to us:
- Re-delivery fees apply, or
- A refund will be issued minus original shipping and a £5 handling fee (only if returned in resaleable condition).
- If the parcel is not returned, no refund will be issued.
4. Returns & Refunds
Due to hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns of opened or used fragrance oils.
Returns are only accepted if:
- The item is unused, unopened, and sealed in its original packaging.
- You notify us within 3 days of delivery.
- You have received written return approval.
- Return postage is paid by the customer (unless the item is faulty under UK law).
Refunds will have:
- A £5 handling fee deducted.
- Original shipping costs deducted.
- Final approval after inspection of returned goods.
5. Damaged or Faulty Items
- Damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery with photo/video proof.
- Keep all packaging until the issue is resolved.
- Once confirmed, a replacement or refund will be issued within 30 days.
6. Customs & Import Rules (International Orders)
- Buyers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance.
- If customs refuse entry, destroy, or return your order due to non-compliance, no refund will be given unless the item is returned in good condition.
- Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
7. Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to block, cancel, or investigate any order suspected of fraud, including:
- Multiple unfounded refund claims.
- False “item not received” disputes.
- Returns based on personal preference disguised as faults.
We may report such cases to Trading Standards, Action Fraud, and payment providers.
8. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by couriers or customs.
- Allergic reactions (patch testing is recommended).
- Misuse of products after purchase.
- Indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the UK legal system.
